Synopsis
Mido Jin is the ace of the university soccer team, known for his selfish play and willingness to do whatever it takes to win.
After losing a match, his junior Asakura Yuma notices the real reason—an injury Jin has been hiding.
“Take off that mask in front of me,” Yuma says, then begins to touch him. When Jin tries to resist, he’s threatened with exposure.
After being taken in the locker room, Jin finds himself visiting Yuma’s apartment every day. Even with a match the next day, nothing stops them.
Sure enough, Jin loses the next match and is finally benched when his injury is revealed to the coach.
As Jin grows weaker, Yuma treats him with unexpected kindness. But what are his true intentions…?

Editorial Review
[Alex’s Pick]
“Only I Know the Ace’s True Face” leans into the darker corners of BL with a premise that centers on power imbalance and manipulation. This is quintessential coercive romance territory—the kind of doujin that doesn’t shy away from exploring problematic dynamics as its central appeal. The story pairs an unsuspecting protagonist with a possessive, muscular top who uses blackmail as a tool for control, establishing a relationship built on secrets and forced submission rather than mutual attraction.
The non-consensual and obsessive elements create immediate tension, and the work doubles down on physical intensity through repeated scenes emphasizing the top’s dominance and the bottom’s involuntary pleasure responses. This isn’t a subtle slow-burn; it’s designed for readers who appreciate explicit power plays and the controversial allure of a partner who knows things about you that you’d rather keep hidden.
The muscular physique of the lead character adds visual appeal for fans who prefer more masculine presentations in their uke-seme dynamics. The multiple orgasms tag suggests scenes designed for escalating intensity rather than emotional restraint.
This is strictly for experienced BL readers comfortable with darker themes and explicit content. If you’re seeking thoughtful consent and healthy relationships in your manga, look elsewhere. For those specifically hunting coercive narratives with obsessive undertones, check this one out on Henhenta.
