Kivotos Fart Explosion Season 2

Editorial Review

★2.8 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

This is a fetish-focused doujinshi anthology squarely positioned within the scatological niche of fan-created works—a category that exists in deliberate isolation from mainstream manga discourse. Season 2 positions itself as an expanded collection following an apparent first volume, banking on accumulated fan investment in this specific genre.

The work’s distinguishing feature is its scale: 334 pages across dual formats (illustrated manga and original fiction) represents substantial production effort for a specialized audience. The multi-artist collaboration approach—crediting LaQuan, Dusk, xBRAWLx, and others—suggests a coordinated fan community effort rather than solo creator work, which is relatively uncommon in scatological doujinshi. The decision to present primary content in Korean with supplementary Japanese dialogue translation indicates this originates from or targets a cross-regional fanbase, a practical detail that expands its distribution scope beyond typical Japan-centric releases. The transparency about prior Pixiv and Fanbox publication is commendable for preventing duplicate purchases, though it signals this functions partly as a retrospective compilation.

The R-15 rating versus the nature of the content reflects DLsite’s classification system rather than content restriction—the actual material would exceed this on most Western rating scales. The dual-format presentation (CG illustrations alongside prose fiction) attempts to serve varied consumption preferences within the fetish community, though execution quality across multiple artists inevitably varies.

This collection appeals exclusively to established enthusiasts of this particular fetish who prioritize volume, community curation, and comprehensive documentation of fan-created content over narrative sophistication or artistic consistency. It functions as a community archive as much as entertainment product.

For anyone seeking conventional manga storytelling, characterization, or artistic polish: pass entirely. For committed fans of this niche: a definitive collection representing your community’s creative output.
