    Synopsis

    Overview

Corrupt House is a survival horror game where you wake up in an unknown house and have to find a way out. Explore the rooms, find items, and solve simple puzzles while trying to hide. You aren’t alone—a succubus and another enemy are hunting you down through the halls. Can you finish the puzzles and get out of the house alive?

    Developer Notes

I made this game as a test to see if I liked using Unreal Engine for my projects. It turns out I don’t really like it, so I’ve decided to move on to other engines. I apologize that this version is short and incomplete because of that, but I hope you still enjoy it.

Note: There are 2 H-scenes that trigger if the basement succubus catches you while you are hiding under the bed or the table.

    Editorial Review

★2.8 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Corrupt House operates in the increasingly crowded survival-horror-with-sex-content niche, where mechanical tension theoretically pairs with adult material to create stakes around capture. The execution here tilts decidedly toward proof-of-concept territory—this is a deliberate learning project that the creator has already moved past, and that honesty matters when evaluating what’s actually on offer.

The core loop—explore, puzzle, hide, avoid—is mechanistically sound but minimal. Two enemy types (a succubus and an unnamed second threat) patrol the house while you scavenge items and solve “simple puzzles,” per the synopsis. The adult content triggers specifically when the basement succubus catches you in vulnerable positions, which frames the H-scenes as failure states rather than narrative rewards. This design choice creates genuine mechanical integration rather than bolted-on sex content, though the brevity means you’re looking at maybe two to three hours of play before exhausting the available content.

What distinguishes Corrupt House is its self-aware incompleteness. The developer’s note acknowledges Unreal Engine wasn’t the right fit and made strategic withdrawal—this isn’t abandoned shovelware masquerading as finished work, it’s a transparent technical experiment. The inclusion of camera-swapping and music-driven atmosphere suggests thoughtful presentation, even if the overall package feels deliberately constrained.

This lands hardest with players who enjoy mechanical survival horror over narrative depth and who appreciate adult content that emerges from gameplay failure rather than dialogue trees. The six H-scenes distributed across two enemy encounters means minimal variety, and the acknowledged incompleteness makes this a niche recommendation at best.

A short, mechanically curious horror-sex hybrid that’s honest about its limitations and occasionally interesting because of them, not despite them.
