But Will You Love Me? [Yomosugarа]

Home Girls Comics But Will You Love Me? [Yomosugarа]

    Synopsis

Aoi is the manager of an underground idol group. Matsuri, one of the group’s members, has great looks and style, but his introverted personality makes it hard for him to talk or dance well, leaving him struggling to be a proper idol.

“People tease me for being a virgin and having no sex appeal…”

“At this rate, Aoi-san will abandon me…”

    And then—

    “Please take my virginity.”

He makes an outrageous request of Aoi. Though flustered, she sees Matsuri growing more depressed, saying “If I’m going to burden everyone, I should just quit being an idol.” Feeling responsibility as his manager, she agrees to a one-time physical relationship.

Thanks to this, Matsuri gains confidence and begins showing promise as an idol. However, he seems to have misunderstood them as dating, causing a complete disconnect in their conversations.

    “Are you abandoning me?”

    “You’re all I have, Aoi-san…”

When Aoi tries to have a serious talk with him, Matsuri’s obsessive attachment spirals out of control. She’s no match for his physical strength—

    “Everything, everything just for me…

Show me all of you, Aoi-san.”

Under his relentless, obsessive caresses unlike his former self, Aoi’s reason begins to crumble…

    Editorial Review

Yomosugarа’s entry into the idol-romance-with-sexual-content space stakes territory in obsessive attachment dynamics, a subgenre that’s gained traction but remains underexplored in girls’/otome manga when filtered through a manager-subordinate power imbalance. Rather than positioning the sexual encounter as a climactic resolution, this work uses it as a narrative inflection point—the moment where emotional miscommunication calcifies into something more volatile and concerning. The synopsis cuts off mid-sentence, but the tag progression suggests escalating intensity rather than resolution.

What distinguishes this from standard idol romance fare is the explicit foregrounding of psychological instability alongside the sexual content. The tags—particularly the combination of obsessive love, forceful advances, and the specific anatomical detail tags—indicate Yomosugarа is less interested in romantic fantasy than in exploring how vulnerability, professional obligation, and sexual intimacy can create a feedback loop of dependency. Matsuri’s trajectory from insecure performer to emotionally demanding partner isn’t treated as a redemption arc; the “complete disconnect in their conversations” and his escalating attachment suggest genuine incompatibility masked by sexual chemistry. Aoi’s position as manager means her capitulation carries workplace-hierarchical weight that complicates any reading of her agency.

The crosssection artwork tag signals this is visually explicit rather than suggestive, positioning the work firmly in the adult doujin space rather than mainstream shoujo territory.

This appeals specifically to readers who engage with darker relationship dynamics and can sit with discomfort—those seeking psychological complexity over wish fulfillment, and who appreciate when sexual content illustrates emotional dysfunction rather than validate romantic mythology. Yomosugarа doesn’t attempt to make obsession beautiful; it examines what happens when someone mistakes sexual access for romantic reciprocation, and that specificity makes it worth attention within its niche.
