[Story]
One day, I find an abandoned phone. Messages from its unknown owner make my body react shamefully. Unable to resist, I obey increasingly explicit commands. Before long, I realize I’m anticipating the phone’s next humiliating orders with desire. I can’t believe it, but I’m craving a man so badly… Am I simply indulging myself at the mercy of his words’ seductive power? Or is this truly who I am…?
A visual novel depicting one woman’s descent into the depths of sexual desire.
Editorial Review
Your Voice Lingers in My Ears occupies a specific and increasingly crowded intersection of psychological corruption and cyberpunk aesthetics—one that privileges atmosphere and internal degradation over conventional plot scaffolding. The remaster treatment here is significant: translating an early work into the KAG engine signals genuine investment in presentation quality, with recreated CGs designed for fullscreen compatibility and a deliberate emphasis on sound design and music as primary narrative drivers.
What distinguishes this entry is its commitment to ambiguity as a thematic core. The synopsis doesn’t pretend to resolve whether the protagonist’s descent into submission reflects authentic desire or externally imposed conditioning—that tension between agency and control is the entire point. The combination of mind control and psychological horror tags creates something closer to existential unease than straightforward sexual gratification; the phone becomes a liminal object, neither clearly supernatural nor purely psychological, which keeps the work from collapsing into simple domination fantasy. The absence of voice acting, notably, places full narrative weight on text, music, and environmental sound. This is either a limitation or a deliberate restraint, depending on execution—but the remaster’s emphasis on audio suggests the developers view soundscape as essential rather than supplementary.
The corruption and depravity tags indicate sustained escalation rather than static situations. Whether that progression feels earned or exploitative will depend entirely on how the narrative justifies each step.
Best suited for readers drawn to unreliable subjectivity and atmospheric dread, who want their adult content tinged with genuine psychological unease rather than played for straightforward arousal. The cyberpunk framing is largely decorative—this is fundamentally about the seductive power of language itself.
A technically proficient remaster of a work that takes its psychological premise seriously enough to withhold easy answers about desire’s origins.
