[ENG Ver.] Guess I’m Not Going Home Tonight

Editorial Review

★3.8 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Office-set NTR with a bitter streak, Guess I’m Not Going Home Tonight sits in the crowded workplace-cheating corner of the adult doujinshi space, where the usual draw is the gap between a professional façade and private surrender. The “bitter” framing is a deliberate departure from the glossier, more fantasy-driven takes common in the genre.

What distinguishes it is the emotional angle. The synopsis centers on Ochiba’s self-questioning, her bewilderment at being in this situation when she has a boyfriend and is a virgin, so the guilt is the point rather than a garnish. Her arc from coerced reluctance to a more willing, affectionate encounter is the kind of “cool, serious heroine falls” progression that fans of the tag look for, though readers sensitive to the coercive setup should note it. The production is also unusually considerate for a 17-page story. The package includes a screentone version, a grayscale version with lettering, a textless grayscale version that reveals art hidden under dialogue, and alternate cover illustrations. The creator even asks readers which finish they prefer. That kind of transparency is rare and gives the work a pleasingly collaborative feel. Note that the bonus material on smartphones is viewable only in-browser through DLsite Play.

The English release comes as JPEG and PDF, so it should be easy to read on most devices.

It is best suited to readers who enjoy guilt-laden, slow-burn corruption stories with office settings, stockings, and a straight-faced heroine at the center, and who appreciate extra art-focused material to pore over.

Verdict: a compact, thoughtfully packaged office NTR that trades gloss for guilt, and rewards readers who like their betrayal bittersweet.
