[ENG Ver.] Cat-ear Complex ~Reverse NTR’d by my Twin Sister~

Editorial Review

★3.7 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Reverse NTR remains a niche corner of the cheating-themed doujin landscape, which usually centers a partner being taken from the protagonist. Here the setup is flipped, with a boyfriend newly paired off with his girlfriend and then pursued by a sibling. Pairing that inversion with a twin-sibling relationship puts this firmly in the incest-tinged, emotionally driven end of the category rather than the purely transactional one.

The most distinctive choice is the characterization of Rion, the elder twin. She is cool, free-spirited, and openly averse to cats, yet she shows up in Amane’s room wearing cat ears after his date with her best friend Komimi. That contradiction gives the title’s “complex” some real narrative logic and suggests the costume is a deliberate, vulnerable gesture rather than a mere fetish prop. The synopsis promises a reason behind her actions and frames her feelings as “mad yet utterly sincere,” so the appeal leans on obsessive devotion and guilt rather than humiliation. The best friend as the “rival” adds a layer of betrayal that raises the stakes beyond a simple sibling fling. At 18 pages of main story plus extras, it is compact, and the English-language JPEG release with four alternate cover illustrations and a textless cover file is a thoughtful package for a short manga.

Readers who enjoy possessive, one-sided affection, sibling taboo themes, and a heroine whose confident exterior hides something more desperate will find the most here. Those who prefer sprawling plots or gentle romance will find it too brief and too fraught.

A short, focused reverse-NTR with a memorable gimmick and an emotional core, it is a solid pick for taboo-leaning readers who value motive as much as momentum.
