[ENG Ver.] Having Sex with My New Cousin in Stepmother’s Countryside Town

Editorial Review

★3.8 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Seventh entry in a long-running step-family series, this sits squarely in the “fictional village custom” corner of adult manga, a subgenre built on the premise that everyone in a remote community treats intimacy as routine etiquette. That setup remains one of the most dependable fantasy frameworks in the doujinshi space, because it removes the need for elaborate seduction plotting and lets the story move straight to its central dynamic.

What distinguishes this installment is how it layers the premise. The protagonist arrives in his stepmother’s hometown openly doubting that the customs are real, and that skepticism gives the reader a surrogate who gets convinced alongside them. The introduction of a cousin he has just met, Risa, widens the family circle beyond the usual stepmother-and-stepsister pairing, and the “friendly room” set aside for these encounters gives the village tradition a tangible, almost ceremonial setting. The package is generous for the format: 25 pages of main story, cover variations, an extra section, and an afterword, with JPEG and PDF versions bundled. The publisher also states that the story stands alone, so newcomers can start here without feeling lost.

Readers who like the matter-of-fact, everyone-is-in-on-it tone of custom-based fantasies, and who want a gentle, low-conflict story with an English release, will get the most from it. Note that the translated edition omits limited-time exclusive content from the original release.

A lighthearted, accessible entry point for anyone drawn to the village-tradition formula, and a comfortable continuation for followers of the series.
