[ENG Ver.] Perception Alteration Time Card

Editorial Review

★3.6 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Workplace revenge fantasy meets the perception-alteration subgenre, a corner of adult manga that thrives on the gap between a character’s usual authority and her sudden compliance. The office-superior-as-target setup is a well-worn power-reversal template, and this one leans into it with a clearly defined grievance: a boss whose daily passive-aggressive sarcasm gives the reader a motive before anything happens.

What distinguishes this original work is how economically it frames its premise. A mysterious time card found under a vending machine is a pleasantly mundane trigger, and it makes the supernatural element feel casually absurd rather than overbuilt. The second-person synopsis, with its emphatic “WHATEVER. You. Command…”, suggests a reader-insert approach that keeps the focus on wish-fulfillment rather than character drama. At 27 grayscale pages plus a cover, it is a compact one-sitting read, and the single-line command quoted in the blurb signals a brisk, escalation-driven structure rather than a slow burn. The JPEG format and the official English version also make it easy to open and read right away, which is still not a given for original doujin work.

Readers who enjoy comeuppance stories, especially those who have fantasized about turning the tables on an insufferable superior, will get the most out of it. It suits anyone who prefers a short, premise-forward manga over a sprawling narrative.

Verdict: A lean, no-frills payback fantasy that delivers exactly what its premise promises, best enjoyed by fans of workplace power-reversal stories.
