Synopsis
Story
During a years-long war (started with just some flimsy excuse), for some reason a beastman “Solice” is getting attached to you.
She is your cute self-proclaimed subordinate that’s as bright as the sun.
During the brief moments she’s off-duty, you two get touchy, and close the distance… This is the story of how she, in her darker times, throws her love at you!

Editorial Review
This wartime romance pairs an upbeat fox beastman character with unexpectedly darker psychological undercurrents—a narrative tension that elevates it above standard military-setting ASMR fare. The premise of Solice as a cheerful, chatty subordinate who conceals a serious mental disorder gives the work thematic weight rarely seen in the cheerful-girl-in-uniform subcategory. Rather than simply deploying the animal-ear aesthetic as decoration, the work uses her beastman status to reinforce themes of acceptance and outsider connection, grounding the romantic dynamic in something approaching character substance.
The English localization is a significant practical asset in an ASMR market still dominated by Japanese-language releases, immediately broadening accessibility. The dual-track structure—balancing Solice’s daytime brightness with her “darker times”—suggests a deliberate pacing strategy that resists the temptation to keep the tone uniformly light or uniformly heavy. Track titles hint at emotional escalation (“Your self-proclaimed subordinate” moving toward “The lady”), implying narrative progression rather than standalone scenes. The 6+ minute second track suggests room for genuine conversational depth rather than rushed content delivery.
The mental health angle demands particular attention here. When handled thoughtfully, psychological vulnerability in adult voice work can create genuine intimacy; when mishandled, it risks trivializing real suffering. The synopsis’s honest acknowledgment of her “grave mental disorder” suggests awareness of this territory, though the incomplete track list prevents full assessment of how sensitively the work navigates this ground.
This lands squarely for listeners seeking psychological complexity layered into their character-driven ASMR—specifically those drawn to the fox beastman aesthetic combined with melancholic emotional arcs and partner-comfort dynamics. The English subtitle option makes it an unusually accessible entry point for non-Japanese speakers new to voice work conventions.
A thoughtfully constructed wartime romance that risks cliché but seems genuinely committed to character depth.
