Once there was a village.
The village needed a young female sacrifice to be protected by the Inugami god.
With a shortage of women, the one selected was the young man Kafuna.
He refuses to give up hope of returning alive.
“I’ll defeat this dog god and make the village support itself for free. I will definitely make it back!”
However, instead of defeating the god, he becomes favored by the Inugami.
The god then goes into heat without realizing Kafuna is male.
This is a story where the sacrifice’s return home becomes the least of their concerns.
