[ENG Ver.] Super Strong Saintess, Loses Abysmally

Editorial Review

★4.2 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Part of the heroine-defeat subgenre, this entry swaps the usual helpless protagonist for an overpowered one, a setup the format often relies on for contrast. Where many tentacle-focused works in the adult manga/doujinshi space treat the heroine’s strength as a vague premise, here it comes with concrete rules.

Emilia’s “reflection” skill only triggers against attacks made with malice, and only when she herself recognizes them as attacks. That gives the story a built-in logic for her downfall instead of an arbitrary loss. Her flaws, a sadistic streak and a habit of underestimating opponents, make the defeat feel earned, and the premise of a justice-minded Saintess outmatched by a mysterious, very strong Tentacle Woman sets up a clear power reversal. The extras add to the value: 34 main pages across two episodes, bonus preface episodes, character bios, and scenario setting notes bring the total to 46 pages. That is generous worldbuilding for a format that usually skips it. The English release in JPEG and PDF also makes it easy to read on whatever device you prefer.

Readers who enjoy fantasy-RPG framing, tentacle themes, and “overconfident hero meets her match” dynamics will get the most out of it, especially those who like a defeat built on established rules rather than convenience.

For fans of pride-before-the-fall storylines, this is a well-structured tentacle fantasy that gives its heroine’s downfall a logic of its own.
