Synopsis

Long ago, the oppressed rose in rebellion through a mysterious ‘Box’ brought by a foreign stranger.

Time passed, and those once persecuted flourished as seven great houses.

However, the Shiki clan—foremost among the seven—had no male heir. To secure a successor, they invited a young man from outside the village.

His name was Yasaka Hisao.

Raised as a mere ‘commodity,’ Hisao lacked the subtlety of human emotion. Yet through repeated encounters with Shiki Kanako, the eldest daughter of the Shiki house, his heart begins to change.
