Synopsis

Long ago, the oppressed rose up through a ‘Casket’ brought by a foreign stranger.

Time passed, and those once subjugated flourished as the Seven Great Houses.

Yet the Shiki clan, foremost among them, had no male heir. To secure their bloodline, they welcomed a young man from beyond the village.

His name was Yasaka Hisao.

Raised as a ‘commodity’ rather than a person, Hisao lacked human subtlety. But through repeated encounters with Shiki Kanako, the eldest daughter of the clan, his heart begins to change.
