Synopsis
Himari, the protagonist, is coaxed by a friend into playing a solo hide-and-seek ritual game without properly following the rules—just a stupid prank, or so she thought.
But the stuffed doll used in the ritual suddenly comes to life. When discovered by the doll, Himari faces certain death, only to be saved by a mysterious male ghost who suddenly appears.
While the ghost claims he “couldn’t ignore a cute girl in danger,” Himari catches a crucial detail: black blood overflowing from the doll flowing back into the man’s body.
“You saved my life, so it’s only right you repay the favor, don’t you think?”
“—Wrong. You’re the one controlling this doll.”
Her ability to see through his lies makes the man take a liking to her. Even as he violates her in his excitement, Himari refuses to back down. But the more she resists, the more obsessed he becomes.
“Are you doing that on purpose? You know what happens when you provoke me like that…!”
“I’ve decided. You’ll be my bride!”
Stubborn Himari continues to resist, but—
“You really wanted this, didn’t you?”
“Being overpowered, caught when you try to escape, driven to ecstasy…”
“—You wanted to be defeated by a stronger male, didn’t you?”

Editorial Review
[Alex’s Pick]
Bride Hunting: Solo Hide and Seek ventures into dark supernatural territory, blending horror elements with explicit adult content in a way that demands a specific audience appetite. This work centers on obsessive supernatural entities engaging in non-consensual scenarios, making it squarely positioned within the “yandere ghost” subgenre that’s seen growing popularity in niche doujin circles.
The appeal here lies in its commitment to the darker corners of fantasy romance—combining ghost lore with aggressive dominance dynamics and forced encounter scenarios. For readers already familiar with hardcore supernatural erotica, this delivers exactly what the tags promise without pretense. The hide-and-seek framing device creates an interesting tension structure, transforming what could be straightforward smut into something with narrative momentum.
However, this is emphatically not an entry point for casual readers. The graphic content combined with non-consensual themes means this work requires readers who specifically seek out extreme material. The supernatural element does provide some creative distance from reality, which certain fans find appealing in fantasy contexts, though others may find the combination of obsessive love and rough content genuinely disturbing rather than titillating.
If you’re an experienced doujin reader actively seeking dark supernatural erotica with genuine edge and no softening of its themes, this delivers on its premise with apparent commitment.
