[ENG Ver.] My Daughter Looks Like My Ex-Girlfriend

Editorial Review

Incest manga centered on paternal abuse occupies a peculiar niche in adult doujinshi—less common than sibling or pseudo-familial scenarios, but persistent enough to maintain steady demand. This work plants itself squarely in that territory, framing the father-daughter dynamic as a consequence of physical resemblance and the father’s nostalgic fixation rather than genuine familial bonding. It’s a setup that relies entirely on transgression as its primary narrative engine.

What distinguishes this entry is its explicit moral framing of the protagonist as a scumbag—the synopsis doesn’t hide behind ambiguity or romance. Naomi abandoned his ex-girlfriend during their student years, and the work seems to present his later actions toward their daughter as karmic or inevitable rather than sympathetic. There’s a calculated bitterness to the premise: he “won’t make the same mistake again” is undercut by the ellipsis and the hint that he’s about to make an identical or worse one. The synopsis even dangles a mystery about Mitsu’s true feelings (“It turns out that she actually…”), suggesting complexity beyond simple victimhood, though how that complexity plays out remains opaque from the available description.

The pairing of manga format with both JPEG and PDF delivery suggests a professionally produced doujin rather than rough amateur work, which typically correlates with higher art consistency and production value in this space.

This targets readers specifically seeking transgressive father-daughter scenarios with a narratively self-aware protagonist—someone interested in taboo dynamics explored without romantic rationalization, and who appreciate when an adult character is framed as genuinely culpable. The cynical premise demands an audience comfortable with darker psychological territory.

A technically competent execution of a deliberately grim premise—worth evaluating purely on whether its specific transgressive angle matches your appetite.
