    Synopsis

Survive 5 Days! A “Victim” Training Simulation Game

This game appears to be a training simulator, but it’s actually the reverse—a “victim” endurance simulation. You play as Thea, imprisoned in a cold dungeon by the Growlock faction. With your brother’s rescue team arriving in five days, you must survive intense interrogations to protect his location.

The game employs real-time physics using inverse kinematics and ragdoll technology, creating realistic body movements in response to torture. Your survival depends on strategic decision-making: managing your physical condition, emotional state, and consciousness while navigating each interrogation scenario.

The game features three different endings. Succumbing to interrogation ensures survival but prevents the best ending. Resisting requires courage but significantly increases difficulty. Additionally, a Gallery Mode allows players to experience interrogation from the interrogator’s perspective with more intense scenarios and optional mechanics.

    Editorial Review

★4.7 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Slave Alive inverts the standard conditioning sim formula with elegant tactical restraint. Where most works in this space position the player as active aggressor, this positions you as a captive enduring five days of escalating interrogation while awaiting rescue. The reversal transforms passive suffering into active strategy—a rare structural choice that genuinely distinguishes it from the oversaturated domination-sim landscape.

The mechanical sophistication here warrants attention. Real-time physics calculations via inverse kinematics and ragdoll systems generate authentic physical responses to each interrogator’s attack patterns rather than cycling through predetermined animations. When struck, your character’s posture collapses organically; consciousness fluctuates according to cumulative trauma. This technical layer directly reinforces the work’s core appeal: you’re constantly reading physiological limits and making micro-decisions about when to break, resist, or endure. Managing vitality, emotional state, and consciousness levels against predetermined aggressor patterns creates genuine puzzle-like tension rather than passive spectacle.

The narrative scaffolding—political faction conflict, kidnapped sister of opposing leader, five-day survival until ally extraction—provides legitimate story weight that justifies the ordeal framework. Three-path branching between submission, strategic compromise, and defiant resistance meaningfully alters both difficulty curves and narrative resolution, with best ending requiring counterintuitive choices that increase danger. This creates actual replay incentive beyond gallery unlocks.

The inclusion of a reversal gallery mode (where you assume interrogator roles) adds mechanical completeness without feeling obligatory, and relatively accessible unlock conditions suggest developer confidence in the main experience rather than viewing gallery content as the “real” appeal.

Targeted squarely at players who find pleasure in adversarial systems, strategic vulnerability, and technical animation craft rather than straightforward power fantasy. Slave Alive’s mechanical depth and physics implementation elevate what could’ve been straightforward endurance content into something genuinely tactically engaging.
