Synopsis

Tsugumi Azuma, the protagonist who has sworn to live kindly to others due to certain circumstances, returns to his hometown of Kawae after his parents’ divorce. He starts living alone with a fresh perspective. He helps Mikoto Kaido, the landlord’s daughter, who was being harassed by delinquents… He lends a hand to Minato Kano, the gardening club president who tends the fields alone… In the afternoons, he works part-time at a military shop with Yuu Tsukitsuki, the shop’s poster girl…
Sugumis life of helping others seemed to be going smoothly at first. But something felt different whenever he encountered Ruri, the student council president. The day after their first meeting, she appears before Sugumi again. Thinking she’s come to thank him, he chases after her… and plummets—his lower half buried in the ground. “…A pitfall?” Click. Ruri photographs Sugumi’s foolish appearance and leaves.
