Synopsis

Shinji Asakura has been troubled lately. No matter how much he tries, he can’t fall asleep at night. While he tosses and turns in bed, during the day at school he finds himself dozing off and feeling constantly dazed.

One night, on a whim, he ventures out into the quiet city streets. There he unexpectedly runs into Umi Hagino, his homeroom teacher.

“You shouldn’t be out at this hour! Go home and get proper sleep!”

Concerned for him, Umi listens as Shinji confides his troubles. He simply can’t sleep when night falls.

“Then you need to have a fulfilling day. If you do, you’ll sleep soundly!”

But Shinji doesn’t know how to make that happen. The only time he has energy to do anything is at night, when he’s awake…
