Synopsis
Protagonist Kirimiya Haruta—you are the only son of a wealthy couple living in a luxury high-rise apartment, enrolled in a prestigious private academy, but currently living a semi-reclusive lifestyle. Your father Yoshio, an elite employee at a major corporation, dismisses you as a “loser” for being short and overweight, assuming you’re bullied at school. Neglecting the family, he immerses himself in work. Your mother Mizuki, raised as an sheltered lady, adores you deeply but lacks understanding of male development, treating you like a child. You harbor cold hatred toward your father while harboring dark, twisted affection for your young, beautiful, and charming mother.
However, you haven’t actually lived the disappointing life your parents assume. You were never bullied. Years ago, you abandoned attending school to engage in day trading, accumulating vast wealth. Your friendships are strong, and money can buy almost anything. Yet you’ve become resigned that wealth doesn’t guarantee happiness. What you truly want isn’t money—it’s your mother, Mizuki, as a woman.
One day, you notice Mizuki, usually cheerful, looking haggard. She tries confiding in Yoshio, but he dismisses her, saying he’s busy with work. Late at night, you unlock her phone using her fingerprint while she sleeps exhausted from crying, then register your own print. Subsequently, checking her phone during her baths, you discover from emails and social media that she’s fallen victim to investment fraud, owing several million yen in debt. The scam occurred because she wanted to buy Yoshio an expensive watch—his only hobby. Yoshio controls all his income, giving Mizuki only living expenses, leaving the housewife with no discretionary funds.
Your hatred for Yoshio erupts, while your twisted love for Mizuki warps further. With your wealth, covering her debt would be effortless. Driven by intense emotions, you devise a plan…
