Synopsis
The Yokai Six Laws were established to allow humans and yokai to coexist peacefully:
One: Do not harm humans.
One: Do not reveal your true form to humans.
One: Obey the laws made by humans.
One: Do not deceive humans.
One: Do not bear children with humans.
One: Do not lure humans into the yokai realm.
The Mizunatsuki clan has prospered in the human world while maintaining this coexistence. This is the story of Airu, the only daughter of the Mizunatsuki family head, alongside Yoritou, the family butler, and Kaoru, a senior maid.
Airu is a contrarian who struggles to express her true feelings, while Kaoru maintains a composed demeanor while finding opportunities to tease her. Their peaceful days take a turn when an incident occurs in their town. The family head, Mizunatsuki Onizou, requests that Yoritou and Kaoru serve as Airu’s bodyguards. The two attendants soon find themselves accompanying Airu not just around the mansion, but at school as well, becoming her constant shadows.
