Synopsis

Once a great demon who reveled in his glory, the yokai Shirakimaru was sealed away by a shrine maiden willing to stake her own life to stop him. Centuries later, in the modern day, the legend has faded into mere folklore for ordinary people. The massive rock said to seal Shirakimaru is destroyed under the guise of public construction.

“Hahahaha! I thank you, humans!” But he faces one critical problem: when sealed, the core of his yokai power was torn from him. That core remains locked within the soul of a descendant of the shrine maiden who imprisoned him.

“How amusing. Then, current shrine maiden, I shall drown your body in pleasure and corrupt your soul completely. When your spiritual power fades away, my resurrection will be assured!”
