More IxSHE Tell – Ayakane & Yoshino Mini After Stories [DL]

Editorial Review

The mini after-story has become a reliable format for extracting additional revenue from established visual novel fanbases, but RINKS executes the concept with genuine affection here. Rather than padding runtime with throwaway scenarios, *More IxSHE Tell* focuses on two heroines at distinct relationship milestones—one confronting separation anxiety before college, the other navigating the mundane domestic crisis of class reassignment—that feel authentically rooted in the slice-of-life romance foundation the original apparently established.

What distinguishes this from the typical fanservice epilogue is the specificity of emotional texture. Ayakane’s anxiety manifests not as generic jealousy but as a proactive, almost comedic strategy to cement physical intimacy before her departure—a premise that acknowledges both the sweetness of her concern and the slightly scheming nature of her solution. Yoshino’s story takes an even quieter approach, treating classroom bureaucracy as genuine relationship friction rather than manufactured drama. These are scenarios that prioritize character continuity over shock value, which matters enormously for after-story content targeting readers already invested in these pairs.

The school comedy and romance tags suggest RINKS maintains the tonal balance that apparently won them recognition with the 2018 Moe Game Award—humor grounded in character dynamics rather than absurdist tangents. The uniform tag and slice-of-life framing indicate a production philosophy favoring intimate moments over elaborate fantasy sequences, which aligns with the love comedy positioning.

This work appeals specifically to readers who valued the original’s relationship-focused storytelling and want more time with these heroines at different life stages rather than dramatically new scenarios. Those seeking escalation or experimental narrative territory should look elsewhere; those wanting to simply spend more time with characters they already care about will find exactly that.

A satisfying reunion with characters worth revisiting.
