■Story

In the world of “Grand Isles” composed of large islands, humans and demons coexist around the royal capital Freesia. For ages, humans have discriminated against demons based on appearance and ability. Though the current Freesian king has decided to end these customs and implemented a coexistence policy, discrimination still persists.

In the trading city of Marigold in this world, a girl named Lilia Flores cheerfully prepares for adventure. To earn money for her dreams, she became an adventurer, exploring dungeons across the land searching for treasure. However, lacking exceptional physical abilities or magical prowess, she faces repeated failures. This time, determined to succeed, she heads to a dungeon rumored to contain valuable magic stones.

Simultaneously in the royal capital, Sheryl—ace knight of the “Royal Knight Order” dedicated to human-demon coexistence—receives orders to investigate recent disappearances of demons. Suspecting humans who hate demons may be responsible, she departs alone to investigate.

When Lilia discovers a large magic stone deep within the dungeon, she also uncovers a mysterious group conducting suspicious experiments on demons. Attacked by the group, she’s rescued by investigating knight Sheryl. The group’s leader is Valis Bernardo, one of the king’s trusted executives. But why would such a high official engage in this? Before the question can be answered, a demonized by experimentation attacks, knocking both unconscious. Valis considers killing them, but upon seeing their bodies, he smiles wickedly with a sinister plan…
