Due to declining birth rates and other adult circumstances, the all-boys school the protagonist Kanota and his friends attended is shutting down. This year, they’re transferring to the prestigious Sakurahana Academy, which is going coeducational in partnership with a nearby girls’ school. With the simple desire of “finally getting girlfriends!!!”, they excitedly anticipate their new school life with the refined ojou-sama girls they’ve yet to meet.
But on the long-awaited first day of coeducation, stepping into the garden of love, they encounter: “This is nothing like what we imagined!!!”
Confronted with girls whose behavior is far from their fantasy, the boys are left scratching their heads. However, the girls feel the same way: “My prince… isn’t what I expected either.”
Nothing goes as planned for either side. Yet they still want to fall in love! They want to talk about love! With romance-challenged youth banding together and love talk as their weapon, they rise to the challenge. This is their silly yet endearing coming-of-age love-filled story.
