Shortly after defeating Benietsu, the Nine-Tailed Fox revives. Driven by Rou Kirin, Kamui and the others escape the school. The revived Nine-Tailed Fox seeks reinforcements and begins summoning malevolent entities from alternate dimensions. Successfully summoning all of “The Beneath” and “Playful Fang,” the Nine-Tailed Fox recruits them as allies.
Meanwhile, at Tōru’s home: Yuri has become the Nine-Tailed Fox, Rinne has vanished, leaving Kamui and Tōru devastated. Suddenly, Kyōna discovers unconscious people in the garden—Akari, Miha, Hayata, and Tōko have been mysteriously summoned and collapsed. As a dimensional distortion emergency unfolds, Rinne returns in incomplete form. An emergency broadcast reveals “The Beneath” and “Playful Fang” rampaging downtown.
Learning the situation, Akari, Miha, Hayata, and Tōko agree to aid Kamui and Tōru. Using Rinne’s power, they materialize combat abilities and weapons from their memories, regaining their former strength. However, suppressing the side effects of their abilities means they have only 24 hours to fight, while the Nine-Tailed Fox’s enemies have no time limit.
Can they defeat the enemies and re-seal the Nine-Tailed Fox within 24 hours? Or will they fail, with Kamui, Miha, and Tōko becoming playthings for their foes?
