Synopsis

A dark fantasy from Nitroplus Chiral (formerly Nitrokilal), where a cursed cat embarks on a journey.

“The Void”—a mysterious phenomenon threatening all life on earth, from animals to plants. The village of Karou faces severe famine from the Void’s devastation, forcing its inhabitants to consume even corpses for survival. As starvation worsens, the cats turn to a desperate measure: sacrifice.

One cat from the village is chosen as an offering to feed the others. In this grim reality, every cat lives in fear that tomorrow they might be next. Then Conoe, a village cat, undergoes a horrifying transformation—black curse marks appear on his body, and his ears and tail turn black. It’s the mark of an ancient curse, a harbinger of misfortune.

With no time to explain himself to villagers driven by hunger, Conoe flees the village in fear for his life. He sets his sights on Lanzen, the largest city in Sisa, hoping to find a way to break the curse. Braving the dangers of the Void, Conoe begins his journey with this desperate hope.
