Labyrinth of the Abyss

Synopsis

A dark fantasy RPG set in an underground maze. This roguelike-style game has you exploring a deep subterranean labyrinth called the “Tower,” ascending floors as you work toward reaching the surface. As you select movement destinations on the maze map, various events occur—enemy encounters, meetings with labyrinth inhabitants, traps, and hidden treasure chests. Strengthen your protagonist by overcoming numerous trials.

In combat events, you battle enemies using combat skills and action points. After victory, you earn one skill from multiple options. Choose carefully based on what you’ll need going forward. Exploration is also a constant struggle against hunger. If you don’t maintain satiety, combat penalties apply. Food is precious in the labyrinth—secure any you find.

But more dangerous than hunger is “Chaos.” The labyrinth is rife with Chaos—a hazard to all life forms. A single mistake in events or choices will corrupt your protagonist. Maximum corruption means being consumed by Chaos and game over. Stay vigilant.

The story features multiple endings. With each playthrough, your protagonist gains permanent enhancements. Keep challenging the dungeon until you finally reach the surface—your ultimate goal.
