Synopsis
This is the last cultural festival to be held in this school building—In the Uchiura District in early autumn of the 21st century, Uchiura Academy was experiencing unprecedented excitement. The Grand Academic Conference, the showcase event of each cultural club organized by the student council, was set to be held. With the construction of a new campus building, this would be the final festival in the old dormitory before its closure. Naturally, the presidents of each cultural society and the students were determined to make this last festival a success.
With repeated award-winning art exhibits, a grand concert featuring the brass band in full force, and the biology society’s proven track record in genetic engineering, morale soared with each prominent club’s participation. This anticipation culminated in expectations for the protagonist Akiyama Kanade’s ‘Astronomy Club’—an organization shrouded in mystery, with no published research, yet somehow capable of great things.
Based on this optimism, the club was tasked with a single mission: suppress the excessive festival chaos caused by other societies, remove activity obstacles, and solve the strange incidents that began occurring since early summer.
The school’s most famous club members rise to the challenge: Shikura Airi, the aikido master and club president behind the school’s commotion; Sasaki Kaori, the undisputed winner of the ‘Dream Bride Championship’ in the second-year division; Furukawa Yui, a mysteriously taciturn new transfer student; Miyako Nagisa, a sharp-tongued teacher; and Nagafune Kenny Eitaro, the astronomy club member and American exchange student. Armed with the school’s expectations, they embark on their journey toward the final cultural festival.
