The lively streets of Edo are bustling with people day and night, but venture just off the main road…

There, unlike the famous “Yoshiwara,” a collection of peculiar establishments line the streets ominously.

This is the infamous back district “Hibara (緋原)”.

Deep within, there exists a shop that attracts all manner of people who have heard the rumors, visiting under cover of darkness.

It turns out to be a sideshow where one can enjoy male-to-male relations through “peeping”!?

*Konosuke (幸之助)

Fourth-generation troupe leader of the popular theater company “Kagara-za”.

A popular touring actor who normally travels the provinces.

Influenced by his father, the third-generation troupe leader, he has been an actor since childhood and is popular with both men and women.

He has a frank leadership personality with the stylish sensibility of an Edo native, though he can be impatient.

Possesses strong possessive tendencies and likes to tease those he cares for. This has become especially pronounced since becoming romantically involved with Yukiri.

*Yukiri (雪利)

Age: 1○

Height: 165cm

Konosuke’s attendant and apprentice actor.

His family is a tailor that receives patronage from Kagara-za.

After delivering tailored costumes to Kagara-za, he falls in love at first sight with Konosuke performing on stage.

Unable to contain himself, he knocks on Kagara-za’s door and requests to become an actor as well.

For an Edo-born man, he is gentle-mannered and honest. However, once he sets his mind to something, he charges forward single-mindedly.

Lacking any female experience, he still carries a certain innocence and bewilderment at Konosuke’s forceful nature now that they are romantically involved.

*Kihachi (喜八)

Owner and proprietor of the male peepshow “Kururi”.

After pondering what novel attraction he could create, he hit upon the idea of male relations and made his shop prosper.

A glib talker and flatterer, but he prides himself on having a good eye for men.
