◇Story
Following a great war in the past, the earth became heavily contaminated, making it nearly uninhabitable for living creatures. Humanity gradually weakened and dwindled in numbers. The remaining humans repurposed technology developed during the war to establish massive city-states in the few areas with lower contamination levels. While living in these cities, people steadily worked on decontamination both inside and outside their settlements, gradually increasing the population.
As population grew and cities were built across regions, records of weapons, technology, and information from the great war were sealed and erased to prevent future generations from repeating the same mistakes.
Time passes. In the modern era, the great war is spoken of only as fragmented information. While appearing peaceful on the surface, those who excavated and misused relics from the great war using scattered records were never in short supply. Guardians existed to regulate these criminals and maintain peace in the cities.
