[Setting]

Shikimiya Academy is an elite, all-boys boarding preparatory school set high in the mountains far from civilization. It attracts the sons of influential politicians, corporate executives, and other prominent figures from society’s upper echelon. The school maintains a rigorous educational philosophy: “Learn in an environment free from distraction, focused solely on academics.” Over an hour’s drive from the nearest station, the school strictly prohibits entertainment—video games, televisions, music players are all banned. Students cannot bring mobile phones on campus. Outside visits and even summer breaks home are essentially forbidden.

[Synopsis]

Tamao Asaka, an ordinary student, transfers to the prestigious all-boys boarding school Shikimiya Academy through an introduction from a relative. He befriends three fellow students and begins enjoying school life. However, as time passes, Tamao begins to notice something strange about their behavior.
