Synopsis

It all began with a single journal.

A young man stumbles upon a handwritten diary describing a village unmarked on any map. There, amidst unnaturally blooming camellias, premature autumn leaves, and countless crimson flowers, lies Kimachi Village—a remote, cold hamlet surrounded by a maddeningly red forest. The youth is welcomed as a visitor-god (marebito) to this place.

“Welcome, honored guest. O Meguri-sama.

This year marks a special festival held once every twenty years. The maidens you will meet were born and raised specifically to serve the visitor-god during this sacred year. Two shrine maidens will attend to you each night in turn.

Offering the village’s most beautiful daughter as a one-night bride to the god—this is an ancient ritual of utmost importance, a sacred act of divine hospitality.”
