Synopsis

With her marriage grown cold and her heart starving for affection, Sumire arranges to meet Yamamoto, one of her students who has seemed withdrawn lately, at a park. As Yamamoto confides in her about family troubles and the sadness of feeling unloved by his parents, Sumire finds herself empathizing deeply. “We can’t let anyone see a teacher and student together like this,” she says, leading Yamamoto to a hotel.
