When playing deck building games, haven’t you ever had status ailment cards slip into your hand?
Cards with effects that put you at a disadvantage if used, yet cause even worse problems if you don’t use them.
The hand you thought you controlled gets ‘used against you’ by your opponent’s design.
Within the rules of cards, you’re ‘made to use’ them and ‘made to lose.’
Or perhaps, through ‘seduction’ and ‘temptation,’ you might find yourself ‘anticipating’ cards with unfavorable effects written on them.
…Once you fall for it, there may be no turning back.
Before you know it, you’re ‘stacked’ with ‘status ailments’ beyond recovery, or having cards ‘stolen’ from your deck.
Or perhaps your ‘mind is controlled’ through ‘suggestion’ or ‘brainwashing.’
That’s this game…!
【Losing Ends Your Exploration】
Almost all previous works implemented a “continue even after losing” system, but this game intentionally does not.
If you lose, your exploration ends and you’re sent back.
Losing here would be bad, ruining everything…
What if you’re suddenly tempted at the very moment you’re about to clear it…?
This is a system designed to enjoy such situations.
