Synopsis

★PLOT

Nakajima Kenta is an ordinary high school student who blends into the background at school. However, he has one female friend—Minami Ayaka, a quiet and plain girl he met through shared interests.

Through their common love of gaming, they gradually grew closer, yet neither could cross the line into romance. Still, they enjoyed peaceful days together as gaming partners.

Then came the spring of a new school year. Kenta is delighted to be in the same class as Ayaka again. Suddenly, a cheerful and familiar voice echoes through the classroom—it’s Igarashi Sho, a popular athletic extrovert, hitting on Minami Ayaka.

Now, as third-year students, their new school lives are about to begin.

・Minami Ayaka

A typical introverted otaku girl—shy, socially awkward, and a gaming enthusiast. She’s more outgoing online, truly a case of “home boldness.” She and Kenta are gaming partners due to shared interests. While she enjoys typical otaku hobbies, gaming is her greatest passion. When focused, her improvement is remarkable, reaching high solo ranks in competitive FPS games. Though she rarely goes out, she loves singing and frequently visits karaoke.

・Nakajima Kenta (Protagonist)

A general gaming enthusiast with an unassuming appearance—not particularly unattractive. Though on the introverted side of his class, his personality and approachability are solid. He maintains decent social connections despite his quiet nature. Gaming partners with Ayaka due to shared interests, though he feels inferior to her skill level and constantly strives to improve.

・Igarashi Sho

The quintessential extrovert—well-liked by everyone, deserving the label “good-natured youth.” Despite his extroverted nature, he lacks sleaziness and maintains an approachable air, making him popular with both genders. However, his romantic track record is poor, pursuing multiple women indiscriminately. He draws the line at taken women but readily flirts with those who merely harbor one-sided feelings. Highly capable in most areas, he excels at everything.
