Synopsis

Shizuya and his wife became intimate one drunken night and started dating. When she became pregnant, they had a shotgun wedding—a classic case of a pregnancy-forced marriage.

With a child now born and their lives drastically changed, both husband and wife are exhausted. To get help with childcare, they decide to move in with Shizuya’s mother-in-law, Utano.

With support from Utano and others around them, they were gradually adjusting to their new life when one night, their child develops a fever. After examination, it’s nothing serious, but the wife decides to stay hospitalized for a few days as a precaution.

This is how Shizuya finds himself alone with his mother-in-law, Utano, for the first time…
