Synopsis
Once, the demon clans stood against the gods.
Sealed deep within a temple, their imprisonment was maintained by the blood of shrine maidens.
But as the maiden’s bloodline weakened, so did the seal.
The current shrine maiden, Sara, realizes the seal can no longer be maintained. Meanwhile, those who seek to break the weakening seal and claim the demons’ power emerge from the shadows.
To stop them and preserve the seal, Sara embarks on a journey to seek the power of the Four Sacred Beasts.
This is the legendary tale that would later be called the Holy War.

Editorial Review
Tale of Legends 伝創記 if occupies an increasingly crowded niche: the story-driven fantasy RPG with adult content, where narrative legitimacy and erotic material attempt genuine coexistence rather than cheap justification. The “if” subtitle signals this is an expansion or alternate continuity, betting that players already invested in the original will return for new guild-quest H-events and expanded character routes. In a landscape where many adult RPGs treat plot as filler between scenes, this work’s commitment to a substantive mythological premise—sealed demons, weakening bloodlines, a multi-ending structure—suggests ambition beyond the surface.
The 3DCG presentation and 100-event CG gallery indicate production investment, though the quality ceiling for this medium remains lower than hand-drawn art. What distinguishes the work is its apparent refusal to compartmentalize: the pure love and emotional tags suggest romance and H-content aren’t segregated into separate modes but woven into character-specific routes, likely tied to the four different endings. The nine-recruitable-party-member count signals relationship complexity, and the 10-15 hour playtime (excluding optionals) provides substance sufficient to justify both narrative and adult moments.
The fantasy worldbuilding—sacred beasts, shrine maiden mechanics, rival power-seekers—reads like genuine world-design rather than a paper-thin excuse. Whether the execution matches the premise will depend entirely on writing quality and pacing choices, unknowable from the synopsis alone. The guild-quest framing for new content suggests episodic structure, which can either deepen character work or feel like bloated padding.
This appeals most to players who value narrative scaffolding around their adult content and want their protagonist’s intimate moments to carry emotional weight within a cohesive fantasy framework. The multi-ending structure justifies replays, and the optional content means completionists can extract genuine extended value.
A solid choice for story-first adult-game enthusiasts seeking substance.
