Each player has an “endurance limit gauge” that triggers surrender when maxed out.

Endurance increases when receiving torture attacks and from attack/defense command inputs. Only the “no input” command option allows endurance recovery.

Attack and defense commands have matchup advantages. By predicting opponent actions and selecting commands wisely, controlling both your and your allies’ endurance is key to victory.
