Synopsis

STORY

On the rooftop during the summer before entrance exams, she was there.

“How can I become happy?”

Leaning against the chain-link fence, she asked me this.

I didn’t know. Neither did she.

So we became closer.

“Don’t you think life paths are like tentacles?”

“You have real cooking talent. Wouldn’t it be rational for you to make me lunch?”

“Let’s watch a movie today. It’s called Easy Rider, and it’s not long—we can skip 5th and 6th period and finish it.”

Those days were happy. At least, for me.

But everything comes to an end.

And then, true happiness arrives.
