My Sister-in-Law is Stubborn

Synopsis

Tsutomu Katsuragi is the second son of a flower shop in a certain town. After losing his parents years ago, he has been living with his only relatives—his older brother and his brother’s wife, Mai. When their parents passed away, Mai took over the flower shop while Tsutomu’s brother continued working at a trading company. Tsutomu was coerced into helping at the shop.

Now, five years into her marriage, Mai is pregnant. She worked until just before giving birth, but raising a newborn while running the shop solo has become increasingly difficult. One day, a gentle-smiling woman approaches Tsutomu at the counter.

“Um… is Mai here?” she asks, calling his sister-in-law by name. Before Tsutomu can answer, Mai appears and says, “Tsutomu, this is Kozue Takama. She’s starting as part-time staff tomorrow.”

“Hehe, this is my first time working at a flower shop, so I’ll need you to teach me a lot, Tsutomu. Looking forward to working with you,” Kozue says with a gentle smile and a polite bow. Watching her radiant presence, Tsutomu’s heart begins to race.
