A World That Never Fades and a Flower That Ends

Synopsis

A beautiful city filled with colorful flowers. Shou visits the city with Ren and meets Haru and others working at a small café. After starting to live and work on the second floor of the café, Shou follows Haru one night as she sneaks out alone. On a distant hill surrounded by flowers as far as the eye can see, Shou witnesses something impossible under the moonlit glow of an ancient tree—a small girl in Haru’s arms transforming into a flower.

Noticing Shou’s presence, Haru smiles sadly, her eyes narrowing at the beautiful blooms around them. “This is how I’ve survived in this world. But I still want to live. Even if it means taking the lives of others.”

Watching the falling petals dance like Haru herself, Shou makes a silent vow: ‘No matter what this world demands. No matter how many refuse to forgive Haru.’ Instead of words, he speaks his resolve:

“Even so… I wish for the end of this world.”
