The protagonist, Takamine Kouhei, was living an ordinary student life. But one day, he dies in an unexpected accident. Then something unforeseen happens—Takamine Kouhei, who should have been dead, opens his eyes. Moreover, it’s the morning of the day he died.

Confused and terrified, he relives the same day again. Not a premonition or déjà vu, but the exact same sequence of events. Driven by fear, he visits the location of the accident. And at the moment of impact—he encounters a “Reaper” and a “cat that speaks human language.”

He’s told: “Death has not yet been averted.”

To escape his doomed fate, Takamine agrees to help the Reaper with their work. And their method is—for some reason—opening a café. Having rewound the world and overcome the reality of “death,” Takamine Kouhei can’t escape the karmic cycle of “death” that draws near. This is the love story of one man who continues to challenge his fate and the world—or so it may seem?
