Bunny’s Mama Substitute Service

Synopsis

Ayato Hirose lost his mother years ago and has been living alone with his father. One summer, his father is assigned a two-month overseas business trip, leaving Ayato to fend for himself.

Concerned about his son, Ayato’s father consults with Rinko Shingu, a married neighbor, who recommends a unique housekeeping service. However, this is no ordinary cleaning agency—it’s a “Mama Substitute” service where registered women come to take care of household chores and daily life as a “mother.”

Rinko, who is actually employed by the service and openly becomes Ayato’s “mama,” is joined by childhood friends and fellow housewives Kiyoko, the company president Kana, and new staff member Tsumugi Niiyome—all eager to become Ayato’s mother. Thus begins an intense and peculiar domestic life.
