Synopsis
When Isao was a university student, he kindly helped a beautiful woman who was lost in town. Attracted by his kindness, Kotoko Takaraiki fell for him at first sight and they were married. However, their marriage marks the beginning of difficult times for them both.
Kotoko is the only daughter of the wealthy Takaraiki family, a prominent upper-class household with numerous successful businesses. She was originally supposed to marry a first-class company executive arranged by her parents. While Kotoko’s strong feelings have kept the two together, the Takaraiki family has treated their love coldly and continues to demand a divorce. Their only hope is having a child—if they can produce an heir, the family might barely accept them.
The couple desperately attempts to conceive, but it’s discovered that Isao has low sperm quality, making natural conception difficult. In their despair, Isao returns to his family home in Ikushima for the first time with Kotoko. When Isao’s father, Isao, learns of their fertility struggles, he hatches a scheme and proposes sperm donation to the intelligent Kotoko. Desperate and grasping at straws, Kotoko agonizes over the proposal and initially refuses. But for the sake of her beloved husband’s future, her resolve hardens.
And so begins an affair in the guise of sperm donation between Kotoko, the refined young lady, and the Ikushima family…
Editorial Review
Netorare visual novels tracking marital breakdown through reproductive coercion occupy a specific but crowded niche within adult games, and this Kohrogi Atelier entry plants itself firmly in the trauma-narrative subgenre where economic pressure and family shame become vehicles for sexual degradation. What distinguishes it here is the precision of its setup: rather than introducing infidelity as sudden temptation, the work constructs a systematic vulnerability—the couple’s fertility crisis becomes leverage, transforming the promise of acceptance into a condition that strips agency from both partners but will inevitably center on Kotoko’s forced submission.
Kohrogi Atelier’s reputation for detailed character psychology works in its favor; the opening concentrates not on lurid setup but on the claustrophobia of class rejection and marital desperation. The Takaraiki family’s cold calculation, positioned against Isao’s working-class origins, provides genuine dramatic architecture rather than mere pretext. The large breasts tag paired with the netorare framing signals this will emphasize physical objectification as humiliation—a choice that demands careful execution to avoid collapsing into pure cruelty.
The family drama tag is essential here; this isn’t casual cheating fiction but a dissection of how institutional pressure (wealth, lineage, reproductive obligation) manufactures consent where none freely exists. That thematic weight is either the work’s greatest asset or its most exploitative element depending entirely on execution and player expectations.
This appeals specifically to readers who derive psychological complexity from nonconsent narratives—those seeking netorare that justifies its premise through systemic pressure rather than character weakness. Casual adult game consumers should note: this builds dread through family politics, not arousal through simple infidelity.
A calculated descent into manufactured shame, executed with Kohrogi Atelier’s narrative discipline but demanding readers confront what they’re consuming.
