While following the classic married woman genre formula, this work has excellent material. Reika Wakana’s sensual performance combined with the intimate ‘wife’s friend’ setting naturally builds transgressive excitement. Director Kyuujuukyu Kyuuta’s skillful direction keeps the full 105 minutes engaging without monotony. Beyond relying on big breasts and mature woman elements, the careful story construction earns high marks. Rather than mere physical relations, the subtle distance between spouses and complex entanglement with the wife’s friend creates the ‘mature subtlety’ lacking in recent works. The 4K quality is crisp throughout with ALEDDIN’s characteristic high production standards. The only drawback is the slightly narrow performance range compared to classic works from the Showa and Heisei eras. Still, this delivers satisfying results. The 105-minute runtime is practical, and this entry in the popular Wife’s Friend series merits recommendation.
