Synopsis
Three years have passed since the tragic great war. A man appears in Morek, the central city of defeated Japan. His name is Naoto Fujishiro. On his shoulder bears the corroded emblem of the Nephilim.
Nephilim—formally known as the Divine Arts Special Operations Unit. During the Third East Asian War, this experimental infantry unit of merely ten soldiers annihilated tens of thousands of ground forces. The “Divine Arts” they wielded manifested the presence of God in this world—a power truly deserving of the name magic. But those who feared this overwhelming strength were not only their enemies. The Nephilim soldiers themselves feared the power they possessed, realizing it would one day become a threat to humanity.
Ikaruga Kaoe, commander of the Nephilim unit, attempted to disband her own squad immediately after the war. Internal conflict erupted. Kaoe was killed, and Naoto, who protected her, suffered grave wounds.
To avenge the one he loved. To inherit Kaoe’s will and seal away the power that should not exist in this world, Naoto rises once more. Weapons with emotions. Gods born from war. What future awaits these Divine Arts Scribes—domination, reconciliation, or destruction?
