Synopsis
Shimada Akiko is assigned as a substitute teacher at Shirakibara Academy while the wife of PE instructor Akita is on maternity leave. Her beauty and sex appeal immediately draw the attention of male students, including the timid Aoki Tsutomu, who harbors romantic feelings for her. However, Tsutomu is constantly bullied by his photography club’s president Takano and delinquent gang leader Maiko.
Jealous female students attempt to have Tsutomu photograph Akiko in a compromising situation, but the plan fails. When Akita beats Tsutomu for the failed scheme, Akiko’s protective intervention only deepens the girls’ resentment. Maiko and her gang manipulate both Akita and Takano into assaulting Akiko through seduction. Akita forcefully violates her at his apartment, and Akiko’s body gradually responds. Days later, Takano and his friends wait for an opportunity during a photo shoot by the riverbed. When they hesitate, Tsutomu suddenly rushes forward and pushes Akiko down.
Akiko, believing in a good student-teacher relationship, tears up and asks Tsutomu “Why…?” On the day Akiko leaves, she waits at the school gate but cannot speak to Tsutomu. She watches his retreating figure as he runs away, then turns and walks on, never looking back.
