Synopsis
Based on Nakayama Chigaku’s erotic novel of the same name, master director Fujita Toshihachi crafts an expansive work of eros that focuses on the emotional turmoil of middle-aged hearts. Katoh (Kishibe) and his wife Masako (Ohtani) attend the funeral of an old friend. On the way back, they encounter Yamazaki (Emoto) and his young lover Riko (Ishida) at a familiar establishment.
