Synopsis

Now, more than ever, women want to be held by “wonderful men” rather than their lovers. “Free love through arranged meetings”… a mistress bank. From men to women: meet, love, you. From women to men: I love money. Ikuko Hitomi (Chieko Matsumoto), president of “Twilight Club,” the largest mistress bank, proudly discusses its prosperity on a television talk show. Indeed, various people gather at “Twilight Club”: Reiko Kazama (Miyuka Kaku), a married woman pretending to be a college student; Yoshiko Kommatsu (Saeko Kuga), an office worker; Yasuhiko Okubo (Keizo Kanie), who manipulates Ikuko behind the scenes; Akiko Yoshimura (Yasuko Haru), who joins to attract Okubo’s attention; and Yukiе Fujiwara (Natsuko Yamamoto), who secretly makes a mistress contract outside the club. Eventually, contrary to Okubo’s plans, the mistress bank—where people’s egos and desires collide—reaches its end.
